Oaselle Salon is a boutique salon based in California, offering a range of hair and nail services. With limited designated parking spaces, we prioritize efficiency and client-focused service. Our mission is to empower beauty professionals and foster a collaborative, supportive work environment.

4. Employment Policies and Procedures

Employment Classification

Employees are classified as full-time, part-time, or independent contractors based on their role and hours worked. Classification will be outlined in your offer letter or contract.

Payroll and Compensation

Employees are paid biweekly via direct deposit.Commission-based employees will receive detailed breakdowns of their earnings.All compensation complies with California labor laws.

Attendance and Punctuality

Employees are expected to arrive at least 15 minutes before their first scheduled client.Notify management as soon as possible for any absences or delays.

5. Workplace Standards

Code of Conduct

We expect all team members to maintain professionalism and uphold the salon’s reputation. Disrespectful or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.

Professional Appearance

Employees should maintain a clean and polished look that aligns with the salon’s aesthetic. Uniform guidelines will be provided if applicable.

Client Interactions

Ensure every client feels valued. Offer personalized recommendations and actively listen to their preferences.

6. Salon Operations

Scheduling Appointments

Use the salon’s booking software to manage appointments.Communicate any scheduling conflicts with the front desk team immediately.

Parking Policy

Oaselle Salon has six designated parking spaces. Employees are encouraged to carpool, use public transportation, or park off-site to prioritize client parking.

Tool and Station Maintenance

Employees are responsible for cleaning and maintaining their tools and workstations. Sanitation is non-negotiable to meet California’s health and safety standards.

COVID-19 Protocols

Masks are optional unless otherwise mandated by local health authorities.Maintain proper sanitation between clients, including wiping down chairs and tools.

Sanitation Standards

Follow state board regulations for sanitation and disinfection.Dispose of single-use items appropriately.

8. Benefits and Time Off

Paid Time Off (PTO)
